So Much has Happened...

I've intended to post so many times but have gotten side tracked! Wyatt has hit many milestones in the past month! He can:

• Roll over in all directions and is on the verge of discovering that he can travel via rolling. Eek!
• Babble like crazy! He just talks and talks and talks....
• Scoot in circles. One minute he's facing left and a minute later he's completely flipped around!
• He can "drink" from a sippy cup. Ok, actually he just knaws on the spout BUT he's drinking some water and he get's so excited when you hand him his cup!
• He sits in his high chair for meals (2 a day, now!). He's such a proud big boy!
• At his last check up, we was 17 lbs and 26.5 in

Such a Big Boy!

Wyatt just looked so cute and serious in this picture, I had to post it!

We tried solids for the first time recently. Wyatt's first food was rice cereal (yum!) and he loved it! Surprisingly, he wasn't a very messy eater (yay!). Since then, he's tried green beans, acorn squash, avocado and bananas. So far, he loves them all. Hopefully his eagerness to try all foods sticks and we won't have a picky eater!

We've also begun bringing out new "big boy" toys, like this stationary entertainer. Wyatt loves playing in here, and he frequently holds staring contests with this orange star! It's so funny! He stares at it and babbles as if they are having a conversation!

Monkey Business!

What a fun and busy day! We went to Lane Farms and bought a prefect pumpkin, which Andrew carved wonderfully :) Wyatt dressed as a monkey...he loved all the attention he got! We had so much fun and can't wait to Trick or Treat next Halloween!

Tummy Time and New Shoes!

Wyatt is really enjoying tummy time, reading and his brand new shoes (thanks Lauren!). He is growing so fast and getting so big! He loves looking at The Very Hungry Caterpillar...he can stare at it for so long. Maybe we have a scholar on our hands...

He also looks so handsome in his shoes. However, they are size 2 (3-6 months) and they fit...Wyatt is 7 weeks... Oh boy, we have a big one

Date Night!

We celebrated Andrew's birthday with a date...which means Wyatt had his first babysitters! Karen and Daniel came over and did a fantastic job! THANK YOU!!!

My, how time flies!

I can't believe how long it's been! So many milestones and fun things have hapened! We've been on many outings, Wyatt has begun smiling, and he's growing everyday! He's getting so big--over 10 lbs now! YIKES! He's getting strong, as you can tell by his muscular back (proud parent, here!!). Hope you enjoy the pics!!

It's a big day!

Andrew went back to work today...so it's just me and Wyatt. I imagine things will go smooth, but we sure miss Daddy already (and it's barely 9 am)! How much longer until he gets off....

Last night Wyatt slept for 6 hours straight! We were shocked! Could we really be that lucky??? We'll keep you updated on his sleep habits!
